Maritime Magic Rug Show People's Choice Winners

 Visitors to the Maritime Magic Rug Show were asked to vote on their favourite project.

Winner, Winner!

 Saturday afternoon was full of winners! 

The winner of the Cumberland Quilt Guild quilt raffle was Cheryl Patriquin. Congrats!

 

The Santa wall hanging winner from the NSFAF rug show was Karen Rushton. Enjoy!


We had 16 winners of our festival door prizes. All the winners have been contacted. Enjoy your prizes!


Victoria's Quilts is still selling tickets on their raffle quilt. You can see this work of art - and buy tickets - at the Artisans' Gallery at the Amherst Centre Mall. Draw date is December 13, 2025.

Autumn in Amherst House Tour Tickets Now Available!

Tickets for the house tour are now available at the following locations:

Deanne Fitzpatrick Rug Hooking Studio - 33 Church St

Tickets are $15 each (cash only please). All funds raised go to support the Cumberland Hospice.

Autumn in Amherst House Tour Fundraiser for Hospice

New for us this year - but not new in the town of Amherst! We have some amazing architecture, here's your chance to see a few close up and decorated in some beautiful handcrafts. Tickets are $15 per person and will be available soon. All funds raised will go to support the Cumberland Care Hospice.

New Poster and Linktree

Good afternoon! We are moving along with plans and have some new tools to help you stay up -to-date! You’ll soon see our striking poster online and in the real world - thanks to NSCC student Rachel MacDonald for helping us out! That QR code in the bottom left hand corner is your gateway to information. Hover over it with your phone’s camera function, click on the yellow text that pops up and it will take you to a list of links to our Facebook page, Instagram page, Blog, event application, and a shortcut to our email! On our blog, we will soon have a list of events that we will keep updating as things progress.

16th Annual Nova Scotia Fibre Arts Festival Call for Proposals!




Happy March everyone! We are happy to announce that we are now accepting proposals for the 16th Annual Nova Scotia Fibre Arts Festival, to be held in Amherst, Nova Scotia, October 14-18, 2025!
Please complete the registration form here. We are looking for workshops, demonstrations, lectures, events, teas, show and tell, anything! The Fibre Arts Festival celebrates all things fibre, and we want to share our passion with creators new and not-so new.
If you have any suggestions for workshops or events you'd like to see, please reach out. We are happy to extend a welcome to everyone.
