Opening Celebration -  4^th Annual Fibre Arts Festival

This event provides an opportunity to welcome all  fibre participants, artists and vendors to celebrate the 4^th Fibre Arts Festival in downtown Amherst.  An official welcome from the host committee with greetings from Robert Small, Mayor of Amherst; as well as festival sponsors:  Downtown Amherst Revitalization Society (DARS) and Cumberland Regional Economic Development Association (CREDA).The evening will showcase local artists displaying their fibre art along with other displays of interest.  The Opening Celebration is a relaxed event that encourages conversation and interaction with participants who share an interest in fibre art. Refreshments will be served and committee personal will be available with information regarding the festival and to answer your questions.
